Restaurant VINOTEL is the winner of another competition. The restaurant has won two international nominations at the World Luxury Restaurant Award and has received the status of "Best Wine Restaurant" and "Best Traditional Restaurant in Europe" at the award ceremony in Belfast, northern Ireland.

Competition was difficult, international jury had to choose the best ones from more than 100 finalists from 40 countries.

The selection for the international award was going on for a year. In order to check the restaurant, the jury sends "mysterious customer", who observes the activity of the restaurant - starting from the preparation of the dish, serving-delivery, until the guest leaves the restaurant - all the details are in focus. This is not the end, the final winner is known after a one-month voting procedure.

Success in international competitions for VINOTEL is not unfamiliar. In December 2017, in Switzerland, St. Moritz, VINOTEL was recognized as "the best lux type hotel" in Eastern Europe. This was the first success of the Georgian Hotel brand in the international arena.

Until receiving these prestigious prizes, the restaurant received high ratings on the international travel sites and in 2016 Booking.com ranked VINOTEL 9.2, which is the highest rating in the region. In 2017, the world's largest travel site TripAdvisor named VINOTEL hotel and restaurant "the choice of travelers".

The restaurant management constantly thinks about each customer and his/her satisfaction and offers always a different, special service. The concept of VINOTEL is unique and is based on the history of wine production in Georgia. There is always a distinctive choice of wine - the collection is various and is focused on small wine cellars.

Hotel VINOTEL is located in the 19th century historic building on Elene Akhvlediani Street. VINOTEL includes unique hotel rooms, restaurant with Georgian-European cuisine, historic wine cellar with tasting space and exclusive, natural wine collection from the small wine cellars, that have introduced Georgian wine to the world.

VINOTEL design is unique. The interior of the hotel is decorated with old-fashioned, refined furniture. The walls are hand-made, without wallpapers, unplastered brick arches, carpets and rugs, hand-painted ceiling, specially preserved archaeological exhibits and works of art, harmonious alternation of stone and wood - in VINOTEL everything is preserved in its original form, or is the exact copy of the original.

"VINOTEL is like Tbilisi, a little Asia and a lot of Europe, but in some places on the contrary, there is also a Chinese corner. The main thing is that when you look at Chinese, Asian or European, you know, that you are in Georgia," - explains the restaurant's success owner of VINOTEL Beno Kashakashvili, who was invited to the World Luxury Restaurant Award in Belfast.
