Romanian airline TAROM launches regular air flights in Georgia this winter.
Bucharest-Tbilisi-Bucharest flights will be performed twice a week (every Wednesday and Sunday) from 28 October to 30 March 2019 . Flights will be carried out with the Airbus A318 aircraft.
The Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, granted permission to TAROM to operate regular air flights on August 7, 2018. Bucharest-Tbilisi-Bucharest is a new direction for Tbilisi International Airport.
Until now direct and regular air traffic between the capitals of Romania and Georgia has not been performed.
TAROM Romanian Air Transport was founded in 1954. TAROM performs its activity under the Ministry of Transportation and has been a member of SkyTeam Alliance as of June 25th, 2010. The company operates on more than 50 own destinations as well as destinations operated by its code share partners.
