Twice-Vaccinated Foreign Tourists Entitled to Enter Georgia
15 February, 2021

As reported, regular flights have been resumed on February 1. Under the Georgian Government’s decision, foreign citizens are authorized to enter the country if they submit a document proving they have been vaccinated with two doses.

As noted by Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control, Georgia will receive vaccinated foreign visitors without restrictions and the name and brand of vaccines do not matter in this case.

“The Interdepartmental coordination board has discussed this issue and decided that Georgia will receive twice or fully vaccinated tourists. In Spring, manufacturers may introduce a new one-dose vaccine, but today we have only two-dose vaccines and therefore we will receive only fully vaccinated visitors without any restrictions”, Amiran Gamkrelidze said.
