Spanish Company to Take over Management at Georgia Palace – Reasons Temur Chkonia Plans to Replace Management
Spanish company plans to take over management in Georgia Palace Hotel&Spa. The hotel owner businessman Temur Chkonia told BusinessPressNews that decision for the management replacement is related to growing competition. Chkonia has not specified the company that will take over the hotel management.
“We have invited famous Spanish company to the Kobuleti hotel management. We have decided to replace the management after we built new hotel Paragraph in Shekvetili. We want to carry out more aggressive and more competitive strategy. The new management will take Georgia Palace to a new level in terms of services. Competition has sharpened in Adjara and we should not fail to offer due competition. The management will be replaced in the near future”, Chkonia noted.
“Naturally, a lot of things will change. They will have more resources to attract tourists, marketing and services will be improved. The current infrastructure will be replaced and improved”, Temur Chkonia noted.
“We always had foreign management and we used to hire them directly and select management members ourselves. But now we invite company with more resources as compared to our individual contracts. So far our hotel was never managed by one company. An now we have taken this decision to enhance our competitive capacity”, Temur Chkonia said.
