Marriott International has debuted its Luxury Collection brand in Georgia, with a hotel in Tbilisi.
Paragraph Freedom Square, a Luxury Collection Hotel is located in a contemporary building with a double-curved glass facade that reflects its surroundings.
The hotel features design by architectural firm Hausart Georgia which blends the old with the new, while interiors by HAT Design Paris are influenced by the centuries-old Georgian clothing chokha and traditional ornaments with geometrical patterns.
The 220 guest rooms and suites feature a warm colour palette, leather and velvet furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, wine fridges stocked with local Georgian bottles, and large bathrooms with bespoke amenities.
The property also boasts five restaurants and bars, curated by the award-winning chef Stephane Gortina. Ostigan offers seasonal menus featuring local delicacies, with dishes including a modern Georgian salad with smoked Suluguni cheese, and Paris-Tbilisi chou dough with walnut mousse and caramelised tree nuts.
Gulama, meanwhile, serves a buffet breakfast and lobby bar Talani, adorned with curated art, offers homemade cakes and pastries alongside artisanal coffees and teas.
Sky bar Chinari on the ninth floor offers fine wines and cocktails overlooking the city, and seasonal rooftop terrace Eary offers light bites, brunch and drinks in the summer months.
The hotel also boasts a spa on the top floors, with six private treatment rooms, and further wellness facilities include an infinity pool, indoor circular pool and a 100 sqm fitness centre with views of Freedom Square.
