The departure terminal of Tbilisi International Airport has been expanded
22 February, 2024

The departure terminal of Tbilisi International Airport has been expanded. The large-scale project, the investment value of which amounted to 2,200,000 GEL, was implemented by TAV Georgia – the managing company of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports in order to create additional comfort for passengers, increase the capacity of the airport and reduce queues.

A new space was added to the departure terminal of Tbilisi International Airport, as a result of which the number of passport control kiosks increased, the aviation security check area and the business lounge located in the departure hall were expanded. There will be also a FastTrack corridor for special needs and business class passengers – a special service allowing a person to pass all the formalities at the Airport, in the minimum time and with maximum comfort, without long queues.

The reconstruction works were completed in full compliance with the safety rules, within the planned period.

TAV Georgia will continue to implement projects focused on providing passengers and airlines with even higher quality service.
