According to annual report by Martvili Canyon Center of Visitors, tourism sector revenues in Martvili reached 5 million GEL. Over the past year 120 604 tourists visited Martvili Canyon. Number of family guesthouses increased significantly.

In 2016, only 10 hotels were functioning. Today this number has increased to 25 hotels, Number of food facilities has also increased to 5 ones from 1.

According to Martvili Canyon Visitors Center, for a year tourism sector revenues totaled 3.5 million GEL, while the visitor center’s revenues made up 1 404 278 GEL.

At the same time, new job places were created. Over the past year about 120 citizens were employed at Martvili Canyon and in nearby locations.
