Russian Air Company Airlines will start flights from Moscow Zhukovsky Airport to Tbilisi on August 5, – press service releases the airline’s report.
The Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia states that Ural Airlines will fly four times a week.
The cost of air ticket will be 64 EUR (one way), which includes 10 kg baggage and 5 kg hand luggage.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Transport of Russia suspended four flights of Georgian Airways on July 15. According to Georgian Airways, the Ministry of Economy should take adequate measures and protect the interests of the Georgian airline.
“They do not respond to the unlawful and unilateral actions of the Russian side, which poses great problems for both the passengers and the Georgian airline,” the statement read.
Finally, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development declares that the problem is solved and issues a statement saying that Georgian Airways will continue regular flights on Moscow-Tbilisi rout.
“The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development has always supported local industries, including the development of the local aviation industry, which is especially important for the position of the country as a transport hub and a tourist attraction. A number of important steps have been taken recently to support the local aviation industry, ” – the Ministry of Economics said in a statement.
