Chkhutuneti Mosque

The Machakheli Historical-Ethnographic Museum has been functioning in the building of the Chkhutuneti Mosque since 1984. The Mosque demonstrates two centuries of existence. The first floor of the three-story building is built of stone whereas the second and third floors are wooden. With its ornamentation the building is a museum piece. It was restored in 2012 and some ethnographic items were added.
