More than 65 GEL will be spent on the development of Ureki. In the frame of the project, water and canalization system will be fixed and parking lots will be constructed. The project duration is 3 years and after it’s completed, Ureki will become a recreation resort with modern European standards.

Nowadays, there are so many problems to deal with in Ureki. Because of lack of advertising, there are few tourists and in spite of magnetic potential of the resort, it functions only two months: July and August. However this year, they started to handle the problem and for the first time, they will implement a large scale project there.

First class hotel which is being constructed in Shekvetili, is 5 start hotel financed by Tourism Development Fund. The project will be over in 2017. The sum of project investment equals to 80 million USD. In the frame of the project, basic works of construction works are completed. The hotel will have 220 rooms with the view of the sea. Spa and magnetic sand procedures will be available as well.

According to current prices, you have to pay 60 up to 150 GEL per person in the hotel with 2 meals a day. In the guest houses owned by families, it’s cheaper and costs 7-15 GEL, but it August its little bit more expensive. There are more programs planned on Black Sea Arena. Last year, it hosted 45 000 visitors and since there are more programs, they predict that it will be doubled.
