Georgia was named in the top three of the ancient civilizations- sova.news publishes information according to the survey of The Top Tens.

The website asked users to name 10 best ancient civilization, as a result, Georgia ranked following Greece and Egypt on the third place.

Rome, China, India, Persia, Acetic and Spartan civilizations take next places.

Rating was made based on various criteria. Users had an opportunity to comment in order to prove their opinion.

There are more than 300 comments below Georgia. Users are excited with country’s rich colorit, polyphonic melodies and dance. It’s also noted that Georgia is a hometown of wine and they remember famous legends of Golden Fleece and Prometheus.

It’s also notable, that David Aghmashenebeli was named as the best Military Commander of all time at The Top Tens previous rating.
