On June 28, jointly with representatives of local self-government and Chokhatauri Municipality head Irakli Kuchava, Guria region governor Gia Salukvadze received information about tourism season preparatory works.

The governor and the municipality head saw the resort of Bakhmaro and talked about the planned infrastructural projects.

Gia Salukvadze discussed tourism season details and gave instructions to representatives of the local self-government:

“Summer travel season has started at both seasides and mountains of Guria Region. We should pay special attention to cleaning services so as our tourists feel comfortable. Inflow of tourists grow on annual basis. I also ask you to pay due attention to illegal constructions and follow the law requirements”, the Governor said.
