According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration, 211,484 international travelers visited Georgia in March, up 34.1 percent over the pre-pandemic figure in 2019. 

The figure comes from 188,354 international visits in the month, a 37.1 percent rise over the same period in 2019, and a 236.9% increase over the same period in 2021, according to the GNTA.

In March, the number of international passengers increased by 266.3 percent compared to the previous year, according to the tourism organization.

Among the visits in the month, the number of entrances for tourism totaled 159,199 - a 48.5% recovery compared to 2019 and a 210.6 increase compared to last year - with 107,944 more visits than in March last year, the Administration said.
