Ajara is provided with unique natural conditions for the development of almost all types of tourism. Especially popular in Ajara are seaside tourism and ecotourism (Wine Tourism, Birdwatching). Recently such types of tourism began to be developed as rural tourism, ski tourism, cruise tourism, MICE tourism and gambling tourism.
