A Road Arranged to Reach One of the Most Remote and Beautiful Lakes- Tobavarchkhil
Rehabilitation of the access road to Tobavarchkhili Lake in Chkhorotsku Municipality has been completed.
According to the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, the length of the road is about 10 km, and the width of the carriageway is 6.5 meters, on which the ground cover and metal sills were arranged.
The project, which is funded by the Government of Georgia with 5.9 million GEL, was implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
The lake Tobavarchkhili is located in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti on Egrisi range at 2650 MSL. Tobavarchkhili is the biggest lake from the lakes on the Egrisi range. The lake is the source of the river Magana, which creates beautiful canyon near the lake. there are three nearby lakes: Didgalish Tob, Kalalish Toba and Tsakatskarish Toba.
