How «Georgian House» became a leader company

"Georgian House" is  not only a restaurant, where serve just beautiful and delicious dishes, it is also comfortable atmosphere and high quality service here. We have the ambition to serve and promote the biggest part of the Georgian culture, the age-old tradition of hospitality. We are performing as well as centuries-old dishes and to maintain their authenticity. People come in "Kartul Sakhli " by artificial streets and get in the nineteenth century in Georgia, in the old cozy  yard with hanging balconies,  where the bakery baked bread and in front of you cook “khachapuri” and make barbecue. Around the perimeter on the low voice is heard the popular songs of the famous Georgian composer.   

You will be served with smile by elegant and etiquette knowing waiters. All this takes place in a beautiful and sophisticated environment where the decor elements is used from Tbilisi balconies ornaments. Georgian house has three main halls: "Central", "VIP" and "Tiflis" , also in the style of the old hanging balconies "yard" and "individual apartments." In a different halls guests will be offered  a variety of styles and designs and musical program.

We are "Georgian House," It includes everything that Georgians are proud of and for guest comfort.

What are the plans to access for the next 5-10 years, are you planning to expand your business?

Restaurant business is constantly growing, dynamic business. Our goal after 10 years is the same high-class restaurant and having the status of "Georgian House" branches not only in Georgia but also abroad to be known. We wish to "the house" recognition as a high-class restaurant and  awards from international level  experts and organizations . We also want be able to grant certificates to  staff working in our field, which will successfully graduated our training courses.

 

Do you have any recognition in the international and local market

 This year “ Qartuli sakhli” became “Golden Brand 2015”. We received this award, established by the Chamber of Commerce, for proper management, high-quality services and due to popularity in the community. Last year on the Georgians “ Brand awards” company received nomination “ Lider company”.In addition, we have received awards from various competitions, actively cooperate with the National Tourism Administration and the media.

We regularly receive the certificate confirming the quality and reliability of storage of food-related norms and good faith with the user. We often host government delegations and foreign diplomats so we constantly maintain mandatory high-class restaurant's standards. The greatest reward for us is satisfied clients.

Please, describe briefly the current obstacles in the tourism field and what is your vision for overcoming these problems?

Before coming to Georgia is very important for tourists to have information about the objects, which they are plan to visit and the information has to be objective. It is also important to offer the list of best restaurants, where national dishes are prepared in a clean environment, there is  a good  service, the environment is comfortable. I think it is necessary to take a more active cooperation between tourist companies and restaurants, so that offerings of  the travel  agencies  and services of restaurants  will  provide the maximum comfort to the guests. A lot of satisfied guest will increase number of tourist.

What is your opinion on the Welcome to Georgia – National Award?

It is very good that received application for a different nominations will assess international level experts, also it is important that competition is supported by  the National Tourism Administration and Tourism companies. Such competitions are major incentive for companies to offer customers more innovation, to become more interesting and attractive to both local and foreign markets and to purchase many interesting partner companies.

How would you summarize the 2016 tourist seasons?

"Qartuli Sakhli" is actively host foreign guests, is very popular our music program and the national dance. The guests expressed their admiration for our country constantly delicious, beautifully decorated dishes, comfortable atmosphere, beautiful interiors and refined service. We are constantly receiving information via a questionnaire to customers about what the client likes and what he noticed. I can say with confidence, that the 2016 tourist season was successful for us. We desire to be known by more foreign customers and many satisfied guest speak delightfully about Georgian traditions and well-known hospitality.
