PM4SD will be presented in April to the key stakeholders of the Georgian tourism value chain within the framework of 2017 International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. Main objective is to outline a roadmap of sustainable tourism actions and to include PM4SD as international standard to modernize the VET system in line with the VET Development Strategy 2013-20.

PM4SD, Project Management for Sustainable Development, is the first methodology and certification designed to plan and implement tourism policies, projects, products, events, DMOs with a sustainable approach. Based on PRINCE2®, an internationally recognized project management standard, it includes components specific to applying sustainable tourism policies and practices, and to implementing sustainable tourism criteria and indicators. PM4SD forms an important benchmark for competitiveness and growth in the tourism industry and the achievement of sustainable development goals.

PM4SD provides donors and implementers, organizations and individuals with the right set of skills, tools, methods to plan and deliver transformative and innovative actions for sustainable development through a cooperative approach.

PM4SD will be presented to the Georgian stakeholders as a tool to:
