Joint Stock Company "Halyk Bank Georgia" represents a subsidiary company of the joint stock company "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan", which is one of the leaders of the Kazakhstan's financial market and its history is already 90 years old. During this period the bank has reached the highest stage of reputation and professionalism, and millions of clients trust this bank as in Kazakhstan as well outside the country.

By JSC "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" are founded many subsidiary companies, among of which are subsidiary banks in Russia, Kirgizstan, Georgia, insurance and leasing companies in Kazakhstan. In 2006 the stocks of the bank were successfully placed at the London stock exchange.


According to a strategy of JSC Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan", in 2007 was made a decision about foundation of the subsidiary bank in Georgia.


On 29th of January in 2008, on the base of the 62nd decree of the President of Georgian National Bank, "Halyk Bank Georgia" was granted a license of banking activities.


In May of 2008, JSC "Halyk Bank Georgia" became a member bank of association of commercial banks. 


In July of 2008, JSC "Halyk Bank Georgia" became a member of the world's financial interbank telecommunication society (SWIFT).


In December of 2008, JSC "Halyk Bank Georgia" joined an international card system "VISA International, with a status of an associated member
